Why Should We Not Wear Socks While Sleeping?
You shouldn’t wear socks when you sleep because it could cause you to overheat at night. Temperature plays a key role in sleeping. The body cools itself in a similar manner in order to lower its temperature.
This occurs when the blood vessels narrow in order to prevent blood from being cooled off too much by skin cells, and sweat glands open to release sweat, which is a major way in which the body loses heat.
If you wear socks to bed, it reduces the ability of your feet to breathe, sweat and the blood vessels to broaden, which can cause overheating and keep you from achieving a restfulnight’s sleep.
But, you can wear socks for other parts of the day.

1. Heat Up The Body
The temperature of the human body is determined by the temperature of the environment.
This temperature is maintained by controlling the amount of heat that is produced or lost by the body. The body temperature is controlled by the hypothalamus. When the body temperature falls, the hypothalamus signals the body to begin shivering.
This is the first mechanism the body uses to produce more heat. If the temperature continues to fall, another mechanism is called into action. When the body temperature becomes quite high, the hypothalamus signals the sweat glands to start producing sweat.
This is the second mechanism the body has to produce more heat. When the hypothalamus senses that the body temperature is lower, it signals the sweat glands to stop producing sweat.
That’s why it’s not recommended to wear socks during sleep because it heat up the body and you can become sweaty during the sleep.
2. Very Uncomfortable Especially In Summers
Sleeping in socks can be uncomfortable. Some of the most common complaints are too tight of a fit, the socks are itchy, or the socks are too thick.
Some people claim that socks are uncomfortable to sleep in because of the material they are made up of.
Other people claim it has to do with the fact that they are wearing socks to sleep. Some people believe that wearing socks to sleep will cause their feet to get very cold in the morning as soon as they wear them off.
Because the sweat that needed to go out now actually gets the time to do so.
If you are thinking of wearing socks to sleep, than we definitely not doing to recommend it.
